I sure do love this family but I’m a bit partial since this is my brother, sister-in-law, and nephew! I can’t get over Isaac’s curiosity, big smile, blonde curls, and long eyelashes. He is such a joy to our family. He had just turned one before our session and he pretty much ran the show. There was no “Isaac stand here” or “Isaac look at me and smile” as anyone with a 1-year-old would know. I chased him all around but didn’t mind one bit. That’s what you have to do when you photograph toddlers. This definitely won’t be the last time you see photos of this family.:)

The members of this family are long-time friends of mine. I love them all so much. And I especially love watching Aiden grow. We started off by throwing some rocks into the creek. Aiden LOVED that. His mind was on those rocks and playing in the dirt. Of course, can we blame him?!

Painting with Dad | Lewisville, Texas Lifestyle Photographer

I recently entered a photo contest and the theme was “Summertime Fun with Dad”. When deciding who to photograph, my friend, David, and his son, Eli, came to mind. I asked David to tell me of some things he loves to do with his son and painting was mentioned. I fell in love with the idea and we set up the scene. I love how the photos turned out!

Miller Family | Lantana, Texas Family Photographer

I had a great time getting to know the Miller’s during their session. They wanted to have some photos taken of their children. One had just had a birthday and the other was about to. We also thought it would be nice to include mom and dad in some of the photos. We had to battle the wind but other than that the shoot went very well! We did this session in Lantana, where the Miller’s live. The landscaping there is just beautiful.

The Parks | Lewisville, Texas Family Photographer

I just love this family. What to say about them? They are a silly and sarcastic bunch. It doesn’t take much to get them all laughing. We started out at Lewisville Lake and then headed back to Old Town Lewisville, where there are a handful of neat, old buildings. The weather was gorgeous and I had a lot of fun being in their company.
